Swap your Sevenoaks driving test date
Got a test booked at Sevenoaks but need a different date? Tell us when you'd prefer, and we'll match you with another learner who wants your slot – and has one that suits you.
Can't find a cancellation at Sevenoaks? Since 12 May 2026, apps and booking services can no longer book or change tests for you – but you can still swap with another learner, through DVSA.

- Completely free. There is no cost to use this service – not now, not ever.
- Your details are never sold. We will never sell or pass on your details to anyone else. Following DVSA's advice, your email and phone number are never shared – not even with your swap partner.
- We never need your licence or theory test details. We will never ask for your driving licence number, theory test pass certificate number, address or payment card details. Once you've both agreed to swap, you'll add your booking reference, because DVSA needs each of you to give the other's when you phone.

| Could I lose my test? | No. Signing up, being matched or saying yes doesn't change your booking. We can't see or change it. Your test only changes if you and the other learner both phone DVSA – and if anything goes wrong on those calls, DVSA leaves both tests as they were. |

| What details do you need? | Your name, email, test date and time, and the dates you'd like. Never your licence number, theory test certificate, address, payment details or DVSA login. Only once you've both agreed to swap do you add your booking reference, because DVSA needs each of you to give the other's. |
| Who sees my details? | Nobody, until you've both agreed to swap. Then the other learner sees only your first name, your test date and time, and your booking reference. Never your email or phone number. You can message each other through this site. |
| Is a swap guaranteed? | No. We find learners whose dates suit each other. DVSA makes the swap, and checks both bookings when you phone. |
| Do you check the other learner? | We check their email address is real, not their booking. DVSA checks both bookings and both learners' identities when you phone, so nobody can swap a test that isn't theirs. |
| Will I get lots of emails? | No. We only email you about your swap, such as when a new swap fits your dates. Tips and offers are optional and separate. You can pause, change or delete your details at any time. |
| Does it cost anything? | No. It's free, and you should never pay anyone for a swap. |

Sevenoaks Driving Test Swap is run by Geoff Newman, a DVSA-approved driving instructor (ADI) in Sevenoaks at Sevenoaks Driving Lessons, 46 High Street, Sevenoaks. The swap service itself is independent, and not part of or endorsed by DVSA.
